2in1 Aluminium Automatic Smoke Vent System with thermal break and Roof Hatch designed to EN12101-2. The Actuator arm is offset as standard so this can be used for roof access as well as an AOV.

The AOVs can achieve 1m² airflow and are available in standard stocked sizes or made to any size in between 900x900mm and 1260x1260mm.

The 1050x1050mm AOV would provide 1m² Geometric free air flow (the physical free space of the hatch i.e. length x width less the actuator) according to approved document B (fire safety) paragraph 5b diagram C.7 which the 1260x1260mm AOV would provide 1m² Aerodynamic free air flow according to EN12101-02 and CE mark (with wind deflectors).

These smoke vents come with wind deflectors as standard to improve airflow.

NOTE: Structural opening for this AOV is the listed size. i.e. 1050x1050mm Smoke Vent = structural opening of 1050x1050mm.

Supplied in standard mill finish aluminium, other colours available on request.

The smoke ventilation unit is fully insulated with a 300mm insulated Upstand. The lid is offering a U-value of 0.43 W/m²K. Non-combustible mineral insulation also available.

24-AL-13 AOV 24V-5A Control Box including battery back-up to allow operation of the unit in the event of a power failure. EN12101-10 certified.
SP 1322-A Comfort Switch/Daily Ventilation Button.
SP1322-B Smoke Detector.
SP1322-C Fire switch BVT IP40 'Orange' EXP.

The Surespan AOV is usually delivered within 7-10 working days from Order (during weekday working hours only).
